Social Events
During the year there are a number of events organised by Derby & District Law Society. These include an inter firm quiz and an annual awards dinner.
These include networking events which are a great opportunity for meeting local business professionals and others in the legal community.
In addition we are looking to forge links with local schools and community groups and also take part in Charity Fund Raising Events. The President's charity for this year is www.enthusiasm.org.uk
The Society, in association with Derby University Law School and e4e, is running a School Debating competition which starts again in Autumn term with many Derby Schools involved.
The Society runs the Legal Skills Triathlon each year in partnership with Derby University.
